Los Llanos is refered to as the capital of the west of La Palma. A friendly town with a modern life-style but retaining it's old world charm with old streets and houses, many of which have been restored.
On the famous Plaza de de Espaρa are the huge silver laurel trees, the town hall, a very old church and open air cafes.
There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants.It's central position in the center of the west side of the island makes it an ideal center for walking, the beach and excursion ove rthe whole island.
Los Llanos is not only a town but also the name of the area which starts on the edge of the Caldera adn goes down to the coast at Puerto Naos.
Los Llanos is the hub of the public bus system on the west side of the island. There are regular busses to The seaside resort of Puerto Naos and Tazacorte and to other parts of the island such as Santa Cruz, Tijarafe and Garafia. |

| This is a very nice house built in a rustic style an is situated in a excellent place where always is good weather and calmness. It was been restored with care and with attention to all kind of details. A beautiful canarian pine is near the entrence and wellcomes to us. This pine is given the name to the house. The house is localized between a farm of banana plantation and a farm of avocados, very near to the center of Los Llanos de Aridane. The views are very attractive. It is posible to see the sea, the mountains and a part of the city |
