Description: The full house, named San Sebastián has been carefully restored and divided into three independent suites keeping the old structure of the eighteenth century mansion. Yaiza has a fantastic double room, bathroom and dining room-kitchen with a sofa bed and Sat TV. The ceilings are high and wooden. The floors are also made of wood. The street, also called San Sebastián comes up from near the artistic historical town centre. From it there is a view of the town. It is also very popular its many corners full of tradition and recently restored.San Sebastián House is a perfect sample of the innumerable upper class houses that belonged in the past to noble families, wealthy and titled and that have been restored for the enjoyment of the citizens and for oficial or commercial purposes. Santa Cruz de La Palma is the capital of La Palma and with around 20,000 inhabitants is second largest town on the island. It is the home of the islands government.
Santa Cruz is a town which offers plenty to see for visitors.
Calle O'Daly is shopping street with traditional and modern shops, colonial houses and typical houses.
The Plaza de España in the heart of the city is surrounded by historical buildings including thechurch Iglesia de El Salvador, the town haal in typical Renaissance style and the nostaligic Casa Pinto.
In Santa Cruz are many old 'gentlemans houses' with wooden balconies.
There are several monasteries and churches steeped in tradition. There are several museums including the Museo Naval, the naval museum housed in a replica of the Santa Maria.
The busy working harbour is regularly visited by lage cruise ships and tall ships
The town is famous for it's carnaval, the Easter Week and the religious procession Bajada de la Virgen, the festival of the patron saints of the island which is held every 5 years.
