Santa Cruz de La Palma “capital of the island”, is a town with classic taste, whose old part of the town invites one to stroll through the streets and squares, enjoying the rich architecture and culture and a tranquil atmosphere lending to the enjoyment of all and any visitors. Being a capital location, makes for an ideal base for all visitors both commercial and otherwise.
Indeling:
Total number of apartments: 25 Type of apartments : one bedroom apartments and attics; two bedroom apartments. Description : fully equipped kitchen, bathroom complete with bathtub, lounge/diner, TV with remote control, ceiling air ventilation in the bedrooms, air conditioning units ( to be requested beforehand), direct telephone, Internet (to be requested beforehand), individual safety deposit box (for rental), balcony or terrace, free private parking supervised by CCTV situated in the basement of the Hotel and with direct access from the apartments and the recepcion area. Cleaning service : Cleaning 5 times a week between 0800-1500. Change of bed linen and towels takes place between 1+3 times a week respectively. All kitchen utensils are not included in cleaning service Reception : Opening times : 0800-2000 and 2100 – 2330 We take credit cards. Postal,fax, taxi and wake up call services. Information about bus timetables, confirmation of flights, hire car, excursions, tourist sights of interest, restaurants and in general all the information our clients could need. Buffet : Times : 0730-0900 Price not included in board. Santa Cruz de La Palma:
De hoofdstad van La Palma en met haar +/-20.000 inwoners na Los Llanos de 2e grote stad op La Palma. Hier zetelt de eilandregering. Santa Cruz is een stad waar veel te zien. De Calle O'Daly is een winkelstraat met traditionele winkels, koloniale huizen en representatieve gebouwen. Het Plaza de España in het hart van de stad wordt omgeven door historische gebouwen zoals de kerk Iglesia de El Salvador, het raadhuis in schitterende renaissance stijl en het nostalgische Casa Pinto. In Santa Cruz staan veel oude herenhuizen met mooie houten balkons. U vindt er klossters en diverse kerken met veel traditie. Ook zijn er diverse interessante musea zoals het Museo Naval, het scheepvaartmuseum. In de drukke haven meren regelmatig grote cruise schepen aan. De stad is beroemd voor het carnaval, de Goede Week en de Bajada de la Virgen, het feest van de patrones van La Palma wat eens in de 5 jaar gevierd wordt.
