Los Llanos:

Los Llanos is refered to as the capital of the west of La Palma. A friendly town with a modern life-style but retaining it's old world charm with old streets and houses, many of which have been restored.
On the famous Plaza de de España are the huge silver laurel trees, the town hall, a very old church and open air cafes.
There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
It's central position in the center of the west side of the island makes it an ideal center for walking, the beach and excursion ove rthe whole island.
Los Llanos is not only a town but also the name of the area which starts on the edge of the Caldera adn goes down to the coast at Puerto Naos.
Los Llanos is the hub of the public bus system on the west side of the island. There are regular busses to The seaside resort of Puerto Naos and Tazacorte and to other parts of the island such as Santa Cruz, Tijarafe and Garafia.
