Barlovento ligt op zo'n 550m hoogte in het noordoosten van La Palma. De omgeving van Barlovento heeft bananenplantages en akkers, is een geliefd groen wandelgebied.
Een fascinerend landschap met drakenbomen en laurierbossen. Vanaf het uitzichtpunt La Tosca heeft u wuids uitzicht over al dit moois.
In Barlovento is een aantrekkelijk plein met een kerk uit laat 16e eeuw, Nuestra Señora del Rosario.
Voor de handwerkliefhebbers is er het Centro de Artesanía de la Laguna de Barlovento.
Enkele kilometers van Barlovento ligt La Fajana. Niet direkt een strand, maar een aantal natuurzwembaden in zee die zich vullen met zeewater. Er zijn diverse faciliteiten zoals ligweiden, douches, een kiosk en restaurant. |

The house is close to other rural houses, which make this area an ideal choice for groups. It is half and hour walk from the small and attractive fishing headland “Talavera” (next to Puntacumplida Lighthouse) and a similar distance from the natural swimming pools of “La Fajana”, ideal to have a swim on the bright coast of the Atlantic ocean. |
