Omschrijving: This rural house is of a typical canarian style in perfect harmony with its natural surroundings. The owner has cleverly converted the availlable space, originally a place to store farm equipment, grains and animals, into a confortable and magical building.
The house consist of a double room with twin beds, sitting/dining room and bathroom. A relaxing atmosphere permeates through each room. The main attraction of this house, however, is the garden. The layout has a deceptively natural appearance that has in fact been very well thought out. A number of different bushes and endemic plants and flowers have been chosen to provide a wide variety of colour. A flagstone path leads around the outside of the house to end at a little porch, home to a mud oven and barbecue area. An outside shower and variety of garden furniture make outside living easy here.![]() |  |

Een idillysch dorp in het noordwesten van La Palma, met daar omheen verspreid liggende typische Canarische huizen.
Een natuurlijke omgeving met een grote hoeveelheid aan gemarkeerde wandelpaden. Vanaf januari bloeien er de duizenden amandelbomen, een waar sprookje. In februari-maart bloeien ook de vele sinaasappelbomen, een genot voor oog en neus.
Eind januari viert men het feest van de bloeiende amandel. Dit feest is zeer geliefd bij de bewoners van La palma.
De drakenboom in El Roque is bekend als een van de oudste drakenbomen van La Palma. In de schaduw van deze door wind scheefgetrokken boom, kijkt u uit over de amandelbomen en de sinaasappelboomgaarden. Vanaf uitzichtpunt Montaña Miraflores heeft u uitzicht over het dorp en omhoog richting de bergen.
De kerk van de patroon San Mauro, Ermita San Mauro, ligt onder het dorp. Deze kerk uit de 16e eeuw en is gerestaureerd en tot erfgoed verklaard.
Elk weekend is er markt in de Mercadillo met een grote hoeveelheid locale producten zoals groenten, fruit, vlees, honing, wijn enz.
Aan de kust zijn zwembaden in zee, Porís de Puntagorda, bereikbaar via 400+ treden. In de rotswand zitten diverse weekendhuisjes verborgen. |

| The rural house "El Tendal" can be found by taking the road which leads towards El Fayal and the Mercadillo, and it is at the end of the "El Molino" lane. This an area surrounded by many almond trees and a few isolated houses. El Fayal is a recreation area surrounded by pine trees, where you can enjoy good food in the fresh air, and also visit the Mercadillo, a small market where it is possible to buy local produce, such as vegetables, fruit, typical cakes and pastries, local wines, etc. |
