Omschrijving: This house was built in 1935 and Manuel and Lucia, a couple dedicated to agriculture and cattle breeding, and embroidery, lived there until not long ago.
In 2004 the house was restored for rural tourism purposes, converting it into two completely separate houses, one on each floor.
Worth mentioning is the fact that the majority of the pieces of furniture are restored, and even some of the paintings that decorate the walls have been embroidered by the owner following family traditions.![]() |  |

| Breña Alta: |
Een vriendelijk en groen gebied aan de oostkant van het eiland met als middelpunt San Pedro met een levendig plein waar de localen tesamen komen. De kerk San Pedro Apòstol heeft diverse heiligenbeelden en een idillysche hoftuin.
In Breña Alta wordt nog tabak verbouwt en hier kunt u nog zien hoe de sigaren met de hand gemaakt worden.
Voor de liefhebbers van handwerkkunst is er het Centro de Artesanía La Carnicería.
Groot en klein genieten van een bezoek aan het Maroparque. Zo'n 300 soorten exotische dieren leven hier in een natuurlijke omgeving met een diversiteit aan planten, rotsen, een waterval, bruggen enz..
Stranden vindt u in Los Cancajos en Bajamar. Deze laatste is zeer populair bij de bewoners van de hoofdstad Santa Cruz.
Ook in Breña Alta is het goed wandelen en de uitzichtpunten La Concepción, La Cumbre en Montaña de la Breña geven u wuids uitzicht over dit mooie gebied. |

| Situated in San Isidro, in Breña Alta, an agricultural area dedicated to growing cereals, tobacco, fruit, etc. Sometimes, you can see the cattle pasturing in the meadows.
This house is situated some 4.8km from the equestrian centre “La Vaquera”, in San Isidro, where horse trekking routes are organised.
A short distance from Manuel and Lucía’s house you find the paths PR LP19 “Fuente de las Breñas” and the PR LP 18.2 “El Llanito-El Refugio El Pilar”.
In the immediate surrounding areas of this rural house you find the “Cruz de La Sociedad”, which took its name from the place where years ago the villagers used to go to dance and meet up. This cross forms part of the “Ruta de Las Cruces” (Route of the Crosses) through the old Country Routes that are very popular in the island and that on the 3rd May every year enjoy their moment of maximum splendour.
Other places of interest nearby are for example: the recreational area of “Pared Vieja” and the “Dragos Gemelos” (where the legend of the two brothers under the spell of the same woman comes from…). |
